With the Stanley Cup Final ending Sunday night the Colorado Avalanche are the news Kings of the NHL, after dethroning the defending Champion, Tampa Bay Lightning.
After the game Avalanche players took part in the standard post game interviews. During his media availability, usually serious Nathan MacKinnon broke character when he issued a friendly challenge/invitation to his best friend, Pittsburgh Penguin's Captain, Sidney Crosby.
I've been the drunkest guy at two of his, so he better be the drunkest guy at mine.

Well it didn't take Crosby long to respond.
I am really happy for Nate. I know how much this means to him And his family. I have seen how hard he's worked to achieve this and glad he's got rewarded and he gets to experience everything that comes with winning. It's special.
All things considered Crosby didn't mention anything about getting wasted with MacKinnon, but we're hoping to see those East Coast Cup celebration photos this summer.
