Lucas Raymond is quickly becoming public enemy number one in Long Island. This time though it might not be his fault. Earlier in the period Raymond delivered a big hit to Mat Barzal, which drew a crowd.

Another collision involving Raymond drew a crowd later in the period after Raymond collided with Islanders' goalie Semyon Varlamov. As Raymond stood in front of the Islanders goal, he is shoved from behind by Zach Parise. The shove sends Raymond directly onto Varlamov, and the goalie is clearly shaken up.

As a scrum ensues, Varlamov is tended to by the Islanders' medical staff. After a discussion with the staff Varlamov is replaced by Ilya Sorokin. Varlamov had made 22 saves on 24 shots before his injury.

This is just another example of a bonehead play by a player around his own goal. A loss of Varlamov could force the Islanders to recall Cory Schneider from the AHL.
