Breaking News - Joe Thornton spotted practicing and wearing brand new equipment from an NHL team
Rumors have circulated that Joe Thornton has been looking to play one more season in search of a Stanley Cup. But as of now he has yet to officially sign a contract. Now it appears though that Thornton is much closer to a contract with one of his former teams.
Ahead of training camps, which begin next week, Thornton has been spotted practicing with the San Jose Sharks. While the sighting is nothing out of the ordinary, what is surprising was Thornton spotted wearing some of the Sharks brand new teal helmet. Something that is usually reserved for members of the team.
The Sharks sent people into a frenzy when they sent out the following Tweet:
Could Jumbo Joe be set to return to the Sharks for next season? Only time will tell.
