The Boston Bruins and Carolina Hurricanes are in the middle of a game 6 battle in Boston with the Hurricanes looking to close out the series and Bruins looking to live another day.
Jesperi Kotkaniemi would look for some retribution for his teammate, after Charlie McAvoy would nail Sebastian Aho with a bone crushing check midway through the first period.
With the Bruins up 2-1 midway through the second period Jesperi Kotkaniemi would get a golden opportunity to respond, with Charlie McAvoy against the boards and he took advantage. McAvoy went to the bench in some discomfort.
