Philadelphia Flyers management has taken a parting shot at Cutter Gauthier After trading him to the Anaheim Ducks
The Philadelphia Flyers shocked the hockey would and sent a warning to the rest of the Flyers organization that if you don't want to be a Flyer through and through they will trade you, and getting a pretty decent return too.
Last night, the President of Hockey Operations Keith Jones had this to say regarding the trade of their top prospect; take a look.
#LetsGoFlyers president of hockey ops Keith Jones on the Cutter Gauthier trade: «You don't want to be a Flyer, you're not going to be a Flyer. We were very pleased with the return we got.»
Honestly, Jones is right. You can't have a player or players disparage the organization and have them stay within said organization. That's how things become horrible in and around the team.
Flyers head coach, John Tortorella also made his stance known on Cutter Gauthier in only a way he can.
Tortorella : "I don't know Cutter Gauthier from a hole in the wall."
If a player doesn't want to be here "then we don't want you. "
One thing is for certain, if and when Cutter Gauthier makes the National Hockey League, his first game against the Flyers will be must see TV.
