Jon Mirasty is one of the toughest players to have ever played the game. The career minor league legend has played from coast to coast and at one time even took his fists to the KHL. Mirasty recently announced his return to professional hockey after signing with the Binghamton Black Bears.
Mirasty is quite possibly one of if not the toughest player to step on the ice, he's known for his iconic mohawk and because he is known to laugh during fights.
We wanted to bring in some more toughness, in addition to Jake Schultz, for the upcoming season and we're thrilled to have Jon join the Black Bears. Fans in Binghamton will remember his time in Syracuse, he's a fan favorite wherever he plays, and we look forward to having him in the lineup.
During is time in the KHL Mirasty player 40 games and had two assists but did manage to rack up 244 minutes in penalties.
