The Philadelphia Flyers are currently a team without a direction. They currently don't have a Head Coach and they just finished dead last in the Metropolitan division. The team was forced to trade their long-time Captain, Claude Giroux at the trade deadline.

Now a former Flyer has had enough and is calling out the organization for their failures. Chris Therien, who now is a member of the Nasty Knuckles Podcast, played 11-seasons with the franchise.

First off fans. They just wanna go watch a hockey game. They don't wanna see some big giant orange mascot obstructing their view and trying to put a focus on himself. They just want to go watch a hockey game.

Grow up, get with the picture; and the people that do work in the corporate side, they probably shouldn't be. They're not from Philadelphia. This is a unique special sports town. And you can't have people from the outside coming in here and putting their handprint on it when they have absolutely zero clue what they're doing. And those people have zero clue what they're doing.

Philly has always been a very unique sports town, where they boo Santa Clause and safe landings. The days of the Broadstreet Bullies seem like they've passed and as the Flyers refuse to enter a full rebuild it seems as though, they're trapped in the middle ground without a vision.
