Jamie Oleksiak and Nicolas Deslauriers easily have the Fight of the Night
Last night during the Anaheim Ducks versus Seattle Kraken game we were treated to a solid scrap between two of the NHL's modern day Heavyweights.
This is Nicolas Deslauriers 7th fight of the season and Jamie Oleksiak's 3rd. With the NHL slowly moving away from the previous model of enforcers the likes of Deslauriers and Oleksiak have shifted into the Modern Day Heavyweight role.
In classic Deslauriers fashion the scrappy kid from St-Anicet, Quebec did his best to fire up the hometown crowd was a patented post fight celebration.
The Kraken went on to win the game 4-3 and neither Oleksiak or Deslauriers made it back on the score sheet after the fight.
