Line brawl breaks out after vicious cross check in NAHL game, 200 plus penalty minutes given
On Saturday night the Bismarck Bobcats faces off against the St. Cloud Norsemen in NAHL action. The Bobcats ended up winning the game by a score of 7-4, but after the game concluded everyone was talking about something else.
During the 3rd period off of a face off Jake Hosszu(Black jersey), lines up at right defense, before the puck is even dropped it's clear Hosszu has intentions of getting involved. When the puck is finally dropped Hosszu rushes forward delivering a vicious cross check setting off a line brawl.
Hosszu then grabs another player and delivers multiple punches to the head of a downed opponent. Hosszu even tries to pull away from officials multiple times as they try and de-escalate the situation.
Overall the game was filled with 216 penalty minutes, multiple ejections and likely multiple suspensions.
