NHL makes decision on Jacob Trouba suspension after hit on Crosby
Jacob Trouba has developed a reputation as one of the hardest hitters in the NHL and along with that reputation has come a reputation for being a dirty player. During last night's game between the Rangers and Penguins, Trouba collided with Sidney Crosby. This collision forced Crosby to leave the game with what appeared to be a head injury.
Since the injury Penguins fans have called for Trouba to be suspended, but those calls will fall on deaf ears as the NHL will NOT be issuing discipline for the hit.
This likely will not go over well with the Penguins or their coach Mike Sullivan who has already shared his displeasure with this hit.
It can be seen that Trouba's arm rides up after he contacts Crosby's body. The result of this hit is unfortunate but there is no action that should result in suspension.
