Nazem Kadri's agent doesn't hold back when asked about Evander Kane hit
If you're a Hockey fan I'm sure you would have seen the dangerous hit Edmonton Oilers forward Evander Kane laid on Colorado Avalanche forward Nazem Kadri. The end result was an injury to Kadri that has him missing at least the rest of the Western Conference final.
Kadri's long time agent Darren Ferris shared his thoughts on the hit.
«I think it's incumbent on the league to address this targeted hit on Nazem with an appropriate suspension. If they don't address such a serious and dangerously callus hit, shame on them.»
Ferris is getting his wish Kane has a hearing today with the NHL Department of Player Safety. The hearing is by phone so it will be under five games. I have a feeling that four will be the number. I would be surprised if Kane is allowed to play the rest of the series.
