New Jersey Devils General Manager pivots hard while discussing PK Subban
Tom Fitzgerald made it clear that it was in the best interest of the New Jersey Devils and PK Subban for both parties to go their separate ways. Fitzgerald mentioned before the trade deadline that he'd explain to Subban the teams postion moving forward and that Subban didn't fit into those plans.
Over the course of the last few months though it appears Fitzgerald has had a softening of that stance because today he surprisingly shared the following:

After coming up short in his pursuit of Johnny Gaudreau it seems as though Fitzgerald may feel he's still in need of some veteran presence.
