Ottawa Senator fan makes incredibly expensive and embarrassing mistake bidding on game worn jersey
We've all done some questionable things in life, as hockey fans, sometimes money is no object. We want something, we find ways to make it happen. Even if it makes you look at your credit card bill and question your existence the next day. This blunder however, is as bad as it gets.
According to Bleacher Report, an Ottawa Senators fan who was bidding on a Tim Stützle game worn jersey may have made a big mistake. Take a look:
One Sens fan might have misclicked while bidding on this Stützle jersey..the previous bid was $4,170
Now like I said, as hockey fans we've all done some questionable things in order to get the things we want. I don't think this fan meant to overpay for a game worn jersey by over 30K though.
If a fan base was going to do it, you just know it has to be a Sens fan, after all they are the kings and queens of over valuing players and prospects.
All kidding aside though, that person must've had a heart attack the next day after realizing what they did. At least they have a story for life.
