Quinn Hughes rips the Vancouver Canucks medical staff, as
Things continue to go from bad to worse for the Vancouver Canucks. Not only are they struggling in the standings, it is clear multiple players are not happy there, Head coach Bruce Boudreau is on the hot seat for the teams poor play and the entire organization seems to be facing an uphill battle when it comes to this team.
Now their star defenseman Quinn Hughes publicly commented that the handling of Tanner Pearson's injury was not correct either. Pearson injured his hand earlier in the season. Pearson had surgery back in November, but he did not recover the way the team had expected and now he is out for the entire season adding another blow to Vancouver's already tough season.
Pearson is a good scoring winger with two Stanley Cups on his resume. The Canucks will miss his ability to generate offense as well as his leadership. The way things have gone in Vancouver this year, they need all the help they can get.
There are so many issues to address in Vancouver it's hard to know where to start. The fact Hughes is not happy and expressed some frustration with Pearson's injury has to be very alarming for Vancouver. Despite all the challenges this season, Quinn Hughes and Elias Pettersson are the future for this team. The Canucks must do whatever they can to keep these two happy.
