Sidney Crosby crosses the line with the officials gets multiple misconducts and gets ejected
Early in his career Sidney Crosby developed quite the reputation for being a whiner. That reputation led to Crosby appearing to get almost every single call made for any contact against him. While Crosby has decreased his complaining over the years, he wasn't able to hold his tongue last night.
After being cross checked by Mikey Anderson it was clear Crosby was unhappy. Crosby went after Anderson after the whistle, even after being separated. But instead of taking the powerplay gracefully Crosby, who's team was trailing 5-0, went off instead.
Whatever Crosby said clearly crossed the line with the officials because not only were he and Anderson both given 10 minute misconducts, but Crosby was given a game misconduct. Crosby ended the night with 20 minutes in penalties and his team lost 6-0.
