Team USA has another goal taken from them in World Juniors Semi-Finals
During the 2nd period Team USA thought they'd tied the game only to have the goal called back. Canada then scored another goal to make the game 4-2. At the beginning of the 3rd period, the United States thought they'd shrunk that lead again. Only for another goal to be called back.
With less than a minute gone in the period Rutger McGroarty managed to push a puck into the net. The immediate on the play was a good goal, but once against Team Canada challenged.
After a brief review the referees determined this to was goalie interference. The Canadians then added another goal to make the game 5-2, all but eliminating the USA.
