Tie Domi sends heartfelt message after death of Gino Odjick
Earlier today the sister of Gino Odjick announced the passing of her brother. Gino was widely loved and respected across the entire NHL. As one of the last true enforcers Gino was part of a brotherhood that shared a level of respect like no other.
Over his career Gino Odjick dropped his gloves dozens of times, 5 of those times against Tie Domi. After Odjick's passing, Domi took to Instagram to share this message.
So sad and heavy hearted to hear of the loss of one of my favorite brothers to do it. The most respectful nicest guy you would ever meet. We battled a lot but was never mad or angry at him that's how much I loved him and told him that. My deepest condolences to Gino's family friends and fans. He was one of the best. He will be missed but never forgotten #ForeverGino

The brotherhood of NHL enforcers is a strong one and the bond these men shared is far reaching. While the enforcers that remain are few and far between, but the respect has never wavered.
