The New York Rangers and Carolina Hurricanes are playing the first game of their second round series and this is arguably been one of the most physical games this year. It's had everything from physical play to questionable officiating to off and we're only at the end of the first period. New York Rangers forward Mat Rempe was called for goaltender interference on a questionable play.

Rangers head coach Peter Laviolette wasn't too happy with the call and he let the officials know it blowing a gasket on the bench. Everyone has been getting into it; take a look.

Peter Laviolette is PISSED at the Rangers bench after Matt Rempe is penalized for goalie interference

Rempe appears be pushed into Frederik Andersen by hurricane Captain Jordan Staal, causing Laviolette to be absolutely irate. The officiating has been questionable since the playoffs again, but as we moved deeper into playoff season, you're going to see things like this. The games get more intense you're going to see coaches like Laviolette and every head coach remaining for that matter take issue with every call.

Say what you want about Matt Rempe, I don't think in a second round playoff series there's anyway you can call this goaltender interference.

In the 2nd period, the New York Rangers are leading the Carolina Hurricanes by a score of 3 to 1.
