If you're a longtime National Hockey League fan, you remember those Stanley Cup hype videos that were released around this time of journalists asking players who had just won the Stanley Cup, usually for the first time, how they felt. While you likely don't remember everyone in those videos, you likely remember their response as stunned silence or as they mutter, «There are no words.»

With the Edmonton Oilers making it to the Stanley Cup final for the first time since 2006, they have released a video of their own with members of the team's family sharing heartwarming messages of love and support for themselves.

Have a look:

Lots of players featured in this video have waited a long time for this moment, and the words spoken by their loved ones are difficult to comprehend strictly because most of us have never been in the shoes of the player or their family, but the sentiment resonates.

Whether it was the family member of Sam Gagner mentioning how he sat outside Joey Moss' house and mentioning how special she knew their bond was with each other or Mattias Ekholm's family speaking to him in Swedish, the words themselves evoke emotion, but the tone itself gives you goosebumps.

Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, who is one of the longest-serving members of the team, and his support from his mom and dad; and finally, Connor McDavid, who was drafted as the saviour for the Oilers and put the team on his back for years, who got kind words from his folks. Whether you're a fan of the Oilers or not, how can't you feel romantic about the Stanley Cup finals?
