Ryan Reaves of the Toronto Maple Leafs has made it clear former teammates will get no mercy from him ahead of tonight's matchup against the Minnesota Wild.

Reaves spoke to reporters ahead of the game and was asked whether he would go easy on former teammates. He said not only that he wouldn't, but sometimes being a former teammate makes it even more fun to get into it on the ice.

"Sometimes when you're better friends with them, you want to lay them out a little more. Unfortunately for them, I became pretty good friends with all of them."

Reaves is playing in just his second game as a member of the Maple Leafs, although his impact in the locker room is already be called a factor. The Minnesota Wild is his most recent former team, as he played 61 games with them last season. Reaves already has one fight under his belt this season, which came against Arber Xhekaj of the Montreal Canadiens. It was brief, and Reaves has already said he wants another as he feels he was jumped.
