Minnesota Wild set to bench Marc-Andre Fleury
The Minnesota Wild gave Marc-Andre Fleury every chance to succeed as their starting goal during the playoffs, but it appears they believe he's taken them as far as he can. Head Coach, Dean Evason believed that Fleury was his best chance to win, but Fleury has been far from good to start the playoffs. Fleury has given up 4 goals in each of his 3 playoff losses, and 16 goals in 5 games total.
After today's morning skate it appears it's Cam Talbot's time to take the reigns as be was the first goalie off the ice after this morning's skate.
Dean Evason won't confirm lineup changes but Cam Talbot is the first goaltender off the ice. Marc-Andre Fleury is still out there taking shots. #MNWild
Talbot being the first player off the ice should tell most fans that he's going to start tonight. Goaltenders are creatures of habit and Evason likely would not want to disrupt his goaltenders routine.
Game 6 tonight, will go down in Minnesota. This game is a win or go home situation for the Minnesota Wild.
