Pius Suter locks down multi-year contract with a Canadian team
Earlier this week reports had surfaced that Pius Suter was closing in on signing a one-year contract. Today however it appears things changed as Suter officially signed a two year deal.
Pius Suter has signed a two-year, $1.6M AAV contract with #Canucks
Suter, 27, spent the previous 2 seasons playing for the Detroit Red Wings. After breaking into the league with the Blackhawks, Suter wasn't qualified after his first season in the league.
Last year in 79 games Suter scored 14 goals and added 10 assists. This deal gives the Canucks some additional forward depth as they look to make a run for the playoffs.
