Hockey is a spirited sport, not for the faint of heart. Players are always willing to put their body on the line to do whatever they can to win, sometimes that means dropping the gloves to swing momentum.
Yesterday In the American Hockey League when the San Jose Barracuda took on the Tucson Roadrunners, during the first period Montana Onyebuchi took on Ryan McGregor in what was probably one of the better fights at any level this season.
These two player were throwing hand, neither were willing to give an inch, but Onyebuchi landed some pretty heavy shots there at the end. Whatever started it, the two combatants really let go.
I love that fights seem to be making a comeback. Self policing has made a return in hockey It adds another element to the game for the players and the fans. These two men surely battled for every inch and didn't give anything.
