Singing the national anthems ahead of a professional sporting event is a huge privilege and a big moment in the careers of many artists. But so far this season, it appears that at least a few singers have had some trouble with the Canadian anthem.

Earlier this season in Buffalo and then on Tuesday ahead of the Maple Leafs' game in New York against the Rangers, the two singers messed up the words to O Canada.

While this happens here and there and isn't uncommon, so far this season it's occurred too many times and that was the case once again on Thursday night between the Calgary Flames and Minnesota Wild.

After the singer performed the words 'In all of us command', he said 'From far and wide, we see thee rise' instead of 'With glowing hearts, we see thee rise'.

Fans on social media have been showing their frustration with the amount of mess ups by anthem singers this season, while others are calling for anthems to no longer be played prior to NHL and other professional sporting events.
