Since the beginning of the week, there has been an avalanche of developments from the police investigation of the 2018 World Junior Champion Team. Reports have indicated that police in London, Ontario are waiting for five members of the team to turn themselves in. Subsequently, four NHL players have taken a leave of absence from their teams, while one playing in Switzerland did the same. Now comes word that three of the players have been erased from their respective team rosters.
Both Cal Foote and Michael McLeod have been removed from the New Jersey Devils roster on the NHL website and app, while the Vancouver Canucks have also removed Dillon Dube.
It has also been noted that Fanatics has removed their names for options when buying merchandise. Retired players such as PK Subban and Corey Schneider are still available.

The other players who took leaves this week are Alex Formenton, who was playing in Switzerland, and Carter Hart, goaltender with the Philadelphia Flyers. Hart is still listed on the Flyers' roster.
Police have said no charges have been laid yet. A news conference is planned for Monday in the hopes of answering some of the questions related to this case. This stems from an incident that allegedly happened at a hotel in London during an event after the World Juniors in 2018. Most of the members of Team Canada were in attendance.
