Breaking News - St. Louis Blues and Nashville Predators make a trade
While the NHL Trade Deadline was scheduled for March 3rd, that was only intended for players to be eligible for the NHL Playoffs. Teams are still allowed to make trades after the deadline, without the player being eligible to play in the post season.
Today the Nashville Predators and St. Louis Blues took advantage of that rule.
The #Preds have acquired forward Anthony Angello from #StlBlues for future considerations. Angello is a 27-year-old journeyman who has only played 31 games in the NHL in his career, all of which were with the Pittsburgh Penguins. This year the 6'5 center has played 45 games with the Springfield Thunderbirds. In 45 games he has 6 goals, 5 assists and 65 penalty minutes.
